I don't know hoe....31 hp, total weight 225lbs AND 62.5 ft-lbs of torque.

I bet its hard to keep the front tire down, provided you are not fat. ;)

60 mile range too....thats not bad, ....... This technology is getting real close to being fun.....just get the price down and I'd get one ..... urban assault in ultra quiet mode.... 62 ft-lb torque...that could be real fun :D

Worlok14 04-14-2009 03:36 PM

Yeah but the 61 pounds of torque would diminish relative to the RPM of the motor. For example, from a dead stop, it would snap the front tire up like nothing. But say at 50% speed, it would not be near that dramatic. The electric motors torque typically drops off relative to the rpm increase. Unless this is somekind of special motor that i am not familiar with.
As a rule, electric motors do not have the same sudden torque curves at a relatively high rpm, that an internal combustion engine does.
But from a dead stop or low rpm, yeah, that thing would hit hard!

for that price I can damn near get a ZX 10R!!! Now that's being GREEN!!!
