This should convince you not to ever text while driving. Warning, some pics are graphic!

ohhhhhhhhh what kind of car was that?? cus that was brutal. i almost creamed a classic plymouth belvedere, driven by a teenage girl texting. she came over a hill and wound up right in front of my conversion van. if it was something like a taurus id of hit her and gotten some new stuff for my van compliments of her insurance company. but since it was a classic i instead swerved, then folowed her home and let her dad know whassup, he assured me shell never even ride in it again :D:D:D:D:D one life saved :p

I drove next to numerous girls that were texting while driving today on the George Washington Parkway out of DC. Traffic was backed up and we were about at a 10mph rate of speed. When traffic slows down you can actually see what people are up to in their cars.

I don't know why people are worried about drunk drivers anymore. I'm more worried about sober bolnde chicks armed with cell phones.

...One more thing. What actually caused the accident? There was so little left. That 'car' was nothing more than an ATV.

My sons girlfriend can text and not even look at the phone other than a quick glance to read...... wish she could work half that good!

Lot of research here that shows that a driver using a 'phone, even talking on a hands free kit, has much slower reaction times than a moderately drunk driver.

If they've got their window open you can come alongside at a light and take the 'phone. Throw it under another car's wheels. As it's specifically illegal to use a 'phone while driving here there's no comeback - or at least I've had no cops knocking on my door to date. A new 'phone is about the same as the fine, plus they'd get points on their licence if they reported it.

A good vid on texting while driving. It is disturbing, but does the job very well!
