Ugh I can't get over the itch :-(

So some of you might remember me.. I was looking hardcore for a bike last spring and almost ended up getting screwed over a GS500.

Now it's 3 months later and I can't get away from the want.. no matter how feasible it is to get one. There is a Ninja 250 right near me and I want to go out and snatch it up even though I don't have the money or the storage space.

How do I make it stop!

Nice to see you online again.
I did that waiting game thing for a few yrs. Patience! Wait for the time and place and things will end up just fine.

It's gonna be a longgggg wait. We may be moving into a bigger place (with garage!) so it might become an option then, otherwise I have to wait about 4-5 years when I move out west on my own.

I know how the itch goes...I learned how to ride on my dads Yamaha V Star 1100, then I bought a 1994 CBR600 F2 for the next riding season. I rode that for a season, then ran into some money problems. Sold everything I could before the bike. Then I sold it to buy my g/fs engagement ring in March of this year and went this season without a bike...I sold my car this year and I bought a 1986 POS. I am not even insuring my car for the winter so I can afford to finish my bike that I bought in October. Winter is going to kill me until Minnesota's riding season starts again...

Yea, I am in Mankato, I go to school here...I walk to school, and soon enough, I will be walking to BWW for work...how crappy is that? Now is the time to buy though, I got mine for $800 less than his asking price, all it took was rebuilding the carb, which was pretty easy...so yea...good luck finding a bike!

B-dubs rocks, probably sucks working there tho. You are probably about 6 hours from me, and alot further south, still cold tho. I'm from Arkansas just going to school here at UND. Walking sucks, and you cant park anywhere near the main buildings, and its getting worse now that we started getting snow. BTW, I'm looking for a 500R preferably 2000+, let me know if you know anyone selling one cheap. Bike scene is limited here, hopefully its better closer to the cities. Yeah I got the itch too, just wish i had the cash to back it up.
