I just noticed a "Score" tally in the short description under forum posters' names. Was this always here or is it new because it's the first time I've seen it. What does it mean?

Ok, I figured it out, I think.. I can see it still when I go through threads in the gear section.

There is a "score" item in the gear section. What it is for? Maybe a rating of the product? Not sure on that.
