Ok so now that we've all ridden to work, how many other riders did you see?? More than normal, normal or less than normal??

I only saw one on the interstate, but saw two cruisers when I got off at my exit. Technically, that would be +1 than I usually encounter on the way to work.

Just curious to see if the "holiday" is working and actually encouraging riders to come out/increase awareness. My ex, for one, was gonna wimp out because of the rain, or maybe because his new gf doesn't particularly have any interest in the bike and he thinks he's hotter in business clothes, LOL. But he did get stuck in a rainstorm last night. (I think he took cover at a friend's house. I hope so. Even though we can't always get along, I don't want any rider stuck in the storm we had last night!). I told him to stop being a ***** and ride to work today. He laughed. LOL

 

I saw a few more riders than normal, but I don't think it was double or anything near that. I also left later than I normally do (didn't set my alarm... OOOPS), so I don't know if the count is accurate. Traffic truely sucked. After my 150mile ride yesterday, I was a bit sore on my way in with all the stop and go traffic on the freeway. Sportbikes don't like traffic... I suppose I'll just have to remember to set my alarm and go in early like usual.

it's been pretty normal in my area. but alot more on the weekends. more cruisers the sport bikes.
