Anyone get busted by a Red Light Camera? I did. Was going to pick up my son from school cause he had a fever and blew through a Red light without even realizing it. Got a letter in the mail with a pic of my van in the intersectionand the license plate. I felt they were mistaken or it was a faulty light because I didn't remember running it so there was a website to go and watch the video. Sure enough, blew right through it. Can't tell who t was in the van. They have started to install it everywhere and will be coming to a city near you soon if not already. The city generates a lot of money by these. $75 a pop but it doesn't go on your record.

 

75 bucks id blow through 7 a day, try 400 a pop around here. i give a damn, ill stop till my lights green even if i can turn.

 

We have cameras at a bunch of intersections. The city claims they are only used to "monitor traffic conditions".

 

Well its a good thing it does not go on your licence cuz they really cant prove who was driving. and that would be thrown out of court. unless they had cameras that could prove you were driving or what not. They have them here in charlotte they even have signs that say photo inforced

 

the cameras here get 3 shots 1 of you in action commiting the crime 2 your face 3 the licence plate. and it does go on your record

i dont tickets cost like 400 bucks then traffic school is another 2 or 300, hell im not in any rush

 

No kidding... That's pretty harsh. It's always more expensive to be in a rush!
