i ride mine in the house and park it. shut it off, the heat off the bike makes up for the lack of a desent heater in my pad anyway. plus. chicks dig it

he tried, i think its the regulator that has the gas shut off on it. if i mess with it and turn the ****, it works, if i just fire it up, it goes untill it reaches temp then shuts off, then the pilot dies out slowly, like its being choked of the gas supply that keeps it lit. p.o.s. ! where can i find a part for a heater built in 1882 ? lol

wow, thought you were joking. Just place your manometer on the GV inlet and see what it is. That should rule out regulator questions.

With the manometer still in place fire the unit off and see if the pressure drops. Then take another reading on the manifold side of the GV and do the same. But I am sure NS prolly did that then.

i dont even need the meter, you can see the flame drop and hear it dieing out. my best solution is to just move.

you think if i spray some wd40 or some type of lube on that valve it might help or free it up from sticking ?

I would not think that a gv or reg issue will ever be fixed by WD40.
