I'm doing some reading on the rifle right now. Its got a lot of history to it. The full name for the rifle is Mosin-Nagant M44. I found that the M44 is the short barrelled version of the same gun russian snipers would use. If youve seen the movie enemy at the gate its the rifle that the main person uses.

its not stolen. The price does seem really cheap, Looking online the guns go for about $100.

cool then it's off to the fireing range! well and a gun shop for a cleaning kit and ammo. FYI no copper jackets or hollow points are allowed at the ranges.

just be careful as the older surplus guns almost always shot corrosive primer ammo,if it wasn't cleaned on a regular basis after shooting the barrel is prolly N/G. Ask the seller if it is a chrome lined barrel as they held up to the corrosive much better,one last thing,if you do buy it don't bother buying the old style ammo and spend the $$ on an american brand for the better loads.
