RE: Purge kit

purge kits bassicly involve an extra nitrous solenoid , a purge button, and a tube to direct where it goes.
you can buy the add ons from summit racing

don't know where to get the little motorcycle sized bottles though.

RE: Purge kit

The way I'm reading this is you want to put a nitrous purge on your bike without putting nitrous on it. If I'm readin it right, I really dont know how to help you.

RE: Purge kit

PROM you win, ding ding haha ive got it figured out, well kinda im going to use the Purge and aim it at the Radi. that way when its summer here sitting in traffic and the bikes a 225, just a little purge shot and it will lower the temp. im heading back to the shop now to buy the bottle

RE: Purge kit

ah - then skip the nitrous and do a CO2 purge

can use paintball co2 bottles (cheaper to refill)
a nitrous solenoid a switch
get a nitrous solenoid or purge kit from summit or ebay
a paintball ASA adaptor and some NPT fittings and all done

K you were to late on that post brother $127.21 for the 10oz N.o.s. bottle, she'll be here tommorow or friday at the latest, but yeah i had looked at the CRY02 kits from DEI, and they didnt have a bottle smaller than like 5 bibbs, and i have no where to put a 5 pound bottle, the 10.oz is 15.5' long and 2" in dia so im just going to pull the race cowl off and slide it ever so nicely in storage and one off a hangar for it to the subframe.

Now thats a mod, lol. At first I thought you just wanted it to show off, and I decided to stay out of it rather than bash your noobness, but engine cooling and fire suppression actually sounds BA.

Not calling you a noob, bro. I initially thought you were doing it just to look cool, not for any specific purpose therefore I assumed your level of intelligence was below the norm, but now that I have remedied my own ignorance I now see that you were the wiser.[sm=hail.gif]
