I have alway had JL audio subs.. when I bought my truck I decided to try something different. so I went with the new audiobahn's they are loud but a bit slow for the variety of music i listen to.. so I went back to the JLs and here they are

NICE!! I'm a big fan of running 12's in my systems, and usually get comments about how hard they can hit (I usually run a single 12 too). I try to keep them simple, but pack a big punch [8D]
Holy crap, that is clean in there! You wouldn't want to see the inside of my Beretta right now [sm=smiley9.gif] (mind you the Firebird is spotless!) Looks good, someday I will splurge and get a decent system.
I listen to rock, metal, and rap.
I was thinking about getting this box The air spec are right.. I want to go with a ported box so I can turn down the gain on my amp a little for a cleaner sound.
I'm running a Kenwood excelon kacx401m I think that its 800x1 rms at 4ohm's
I use to be really into audio but in the past few years I have fell outa the game
In my old car I use to have 2 12 w0's with a 300 watt kenwood sub amp that placed 3rd in the db comp. one year at 143.7 DBS
BTW my old sub's are for sale!! 2 12' audiobahn

Whats up dude, hey on your subs are the dual voice coil, or single. Are you running your amp at mono or stereo. Are your subs 4 ohm or 8 ohm. I already know your amp is 4 ohm stable. so that means your can only get so much volume off your amp. now if your subs are dual voice coil and 8 ohms you could configure the subs to hit harder. More solid.
