I'll have to get a set when I get home. Silver will match the frame of my bike anyway. Unfortunately, there's no point in getting them now, because I don't think my wife will know how to set them up. I really need to get my wheels off the driveway, though, because it's going to be about 7 months before I get home. Any suggestions?

I would have her buy them now and save them for when you get home; if you looking for a way to get your tires off the ground our stands are very easy to use and come with complete instructions. Unless you have a friend or fmaily member that can help her.

With these stands, do I have to have the steering unlocked? Also, do you sell a rear fender eliminator kit and frame sliders for a 2008 ZZR600?

That's okay. What about the steering lock? Will I have to unlock the steering to put the bike on the stands? (sorry for the n00b question, I've never needed a set of stands for a bike before)

The steering lock does not have to be unlocked; however fir the front stand the wheel need to be straight. Hope this helps.
