New play toy untested

Ok, had to get one of these to try. Overall, I like thefit and finish in the manufacturing process. The welds and finish look sound.

Nice Is it powder coated, or painted? I can't tell from the photo.

RE: New play toy untested

They look painted to me. I am not sure if a spackle finish can be had with powder coating.

Okay I will be the 1st to ask, what is it?

It's a stand, so that Dragone can practice his stunting.

Dragone#19 12-23-2006 08:03 PM

RE: New play toy untested

k, I was wrong. The stand is powder coated.

You being a racer NS must know what that is. Just roll your ride into it and get off the ride. No balancing acts to get your rear stand under the ride after a few laps while being tired.

HAHAHA good one, not my intentions for it though. But you can do that also with it.

kick ass stand drag. powdercoating comes in wrinkle finish too. hard core stuff.

Thanks for the correction on wrinkle finish. Yes, this stand is pretty solid and cannot wait to get her mounted in the hauler.

Now thats easy enough to understand, remember I need pictures or video in the future.lol
The stand is sweet,I have something like that but not as nice. Have to muscle the bike off of mine.

Good investment I say. ;)

Dam that's cool, we got nice spot about 85 miles away out in Lucerne Valley area that is real nice.

RE: New play toy untested

Any boar in that area?

Dragone#19 12-23-2006 10:55 PM

RE: New play toy untested

Not really kid time related on the boar shoots. Those little bastids charging you, etc.
Military bud of mine and I buddied up to see who could drop the pig closest to your feet. Pretty exhilerating.

Dragone#19 12-23-2006 10:56 PM

RE: New play toy untested

The bud was there in case you missed.

you got to try boar hunting with a bow and arrow, holy crap thats some scary stuff, you miss, your screwed. got to stick em at the right time so the arrow goes through them and sticks them to the ground before they ram into you. now thats a under pressure thrill hunt.

RE: New play toy untested

In Florida we use shotguns with a slug in first, then triple ought for boar (unless you are in a stand). I got one last year that was about six feet away (a 130lb sow). The brush is so thick, they usually won't spook until they see you. They are so fixated on eating that you can get right up on them. You are just as noisy as they are going though palmetto scrub shotgun on your shoulder not sure if it is a boar, or a sow you are coming up on. O man, makes me want to ditch on Christmas, and go hunting.
