Default My New Big Boy Box

I finally bought myself a big boy tool chest. It was long over due but well worth the wait.

Here's my previous one. It held up well over the years and met my needs for a long time. But over the last year or two it started to become a tool dump and couldn't be organized.

I bought this one (US General) from Harbor Freight. I couldn't justify spending the thousands many others do. But for $340 I am very pleased. The drawers are very sturdy and slide in and out with ease.

Looks great, man! I am an admitted tool junkie. There are quite a few "decent" toolbox makers on the market. (I'm kind of a Craftsman guy for cabs; cheap and "decent.") I'd rather spend my money on TOOLS than the box to store them in...to a degree. I've gotten another black top-box for the cab closest to you in the pic. BTW, the "auto detailer" spritz stuff works great to keep the cabs looking like new.

hahaha, being from NV, first thought was of our local gals.....until your pics of the other bigboy box....

Congrats on the tool box. I do not have that setup, but of the larger roll around and of the cart for my machinist tools and IE work. Both have held up well. Congrats on the new tool box and hope that they will hold up as well.

Moved

I have a much smaller toolbox myself, nice pick up! Just so I get this straight, you bought a new toolbox because your other one was unorganized? Why not just organize it? Or did you just have too many tools etc for the box itself....just wondering.

Look what I picked up at a garage sale today for $15. I spent another $10 on a new light bulb and whoa-la a perfect companion for the tool-chest.
