Default My bike got hit. . . .

While at work, someone backed into my bike and knocked it over. I got their insurance information and have already taken it to the dealer to get an estimate.... The other company has aldready admitted fault and is waiting to get an amount form the estimate to write a check. Anyway, thought I'd share the pics of the knicks and bruises my poor bike has endured.

Biggest thing is the handle bar on the left hand side is bent in and down. I think the frame is got slightly scratched.

Any tips on dealing with the dealer or the insurance company? I'll be going to 1 more repair shop to get an estimate. Oh, and how would I know if the forks got bent?

Dang, so much for having a bright colored ride! Unless the driver was color blind that is. Damage does not look that bad, but still sucks.

Yeah- damage isn't too bad- it just sucks that it happened. I know I purchased my bike in order to stand out, and to be seen.. unfortunately it didn't really help The funny part of the whole thing was that it was out in the middle of no where, parked in the BIG lot. . . the guy traveled back 30 feet in order to hit it
