Motorcycle Safety Paper

Hey guys for one of my courses this semester my instructor is having us write a paper on something that we believe affects us. I picked motorcycle safety and he approved. I'm going to lean it towards the importance of wearing your gear and different state's helmet laws. I was wondering if any of you had run across any credible sites that had good figures for the amount of people hurt while wearing gear in crashes versus the amount of people that weren't wearing gear. I also am trying to stick with helmet laws as much as i can so i don't go to broad but any kind of gear related information would be appreciated. If yall know of any sites either post a link to them here or pm me. Thanks for the help guys.

icon has posters of a bike that was down and a rider sitting on the curb with torn up gear on. pretty cool deal.

If it's not America-specific there's a pretty hot debate in the UK right now on motorcycle licensing laws due to a faux increase in motorcycle accidents. I read about it in either Superbike mag or Fast Bikes. They cover a lot of ground on actual motorcycle accidents, proper training versus the crap their gov't is trying to put together, etc. Check it out.
