Hmmmm and I thought my KLX was the most powerful engine in the world. I mean after all look what it's hauling around on a daily basis.

i dunno bout that....
i had a 5hp briggs and stratton in my gokart that sat in my backyard since 4th grade, and ran in everything.. rain, snow, hail, heat, mud, dust, sand.. you name it. i never changed the oil and it always had bad gas... then i decided to take the air filter out for better air flow and i got some sand in the intake and thought "f it, idk"... that was in 6th grade. another time it got stuck so i just poured a bunch of dirty oil into the cylinder and let it sit for a day... then to got it out i poured some gas into the oil and set it on fire. that was freshman year. here i am in jounior year and it just seized up last month. almost 9years of neglect, beatings, mistreatment, abuse, redlining and tar for oil and it ran strong for all of it.
deej, if you would be willing to do the same to your bike for 9years, ill admit that the klx250 is more durable

holy chit and holy chit.
on the briggs abuse and the engine!! wow.. just.. wowness..
and just imagine.. it took a BIGGER machine to make all those parts.
imagine the size of the CNC used to mill the lower case half.. where those guys are standing.. that shiney surface, is all shellmilled with like a 15 or 10" millhead..
the millpaths on the crank throws and weights..
THATS gotta be a damm big lathe.
line honing the bearing journals.. man. thats just nuts.
that eclipses the biggest motor i've enver seen. a quartet of 8396HP V20 diesels in power cogen plant at the IUP campus in Pa.
they spun at 400RPM, made almost 8400hp and operated at 36pounds of boost. the turbo made me cream a bit. the inlet was like 24" in diameter, and the compressor housing was like 3 and a half feet tall
the pistons are 15.750"
the crankcase holds 2000 gallons of oil.
they're beastly, but i guess those are like the motor in my fiddy compared to that big beeitch
