Title says it all. A father spoke to his son in Klingon only for the first three years of the boys life. He wanted to see if the boy would pick up the language like any other language.

I'm actually curious to see how well it worked, but it's a cruel thing to do to a child.

I am all for people being multi-lingual but Klingon?????

I'm with you on this one Mike, I am curious to know how well he can speak the language and if it had any bearing on him developmentally learning english well.

 

I spoke Klingon until I was 5 years old! So I say this to my friends:
Jopoypu'Na'Wl'Vad, this is a valid Klingon expression!
