New Fangled Helmet!
I am not sure this would be for everybody. I think I would just rather turn my head and look behind, but if you had neck trouble, it may be a big help for those people.

I'll be very negative about this.
Firstly I wear reading glasses, but don't need glasses to ride or drive. A mirror that close to my eyes would be useless without my glasses, but with them I couldn't see the road. It's position renders bi-focals of no value.
I don't likethe thought of a mirror that close to my eyes in a crash.
It's useless if you have a passenger.
It's value is compromised if you have a top box.
It doesn't cover the blind spots, so you still need a lifesaver.
It doesn't let me see anthing more that I can see with my normal mirrors.
A clever idea, but I don't think its been fully thought out.

i'd be curious to try one and see what the field of vision was like. my body tends to block the rear part of the view from my side mirrors so i have to move my body and head to the side to see behind me well.
with the mirror that close to your eyes it will provide a large view.

I would be more worried about an additional distraction above the eye-line of the rider. If something flashy happens behind you it could distract you for just a sec, but I am just being picky with that, it is the same as in a car. Cool idea IMHO...
