as for this little comment:
I have driven cars to the ground including my first car (77 Oldsmobile) which had 125k when i got it and got rid of it at 230k

and my first s-10 which i drove to 150K before i sold it. the way i see it GM makes the best engines in the world; 150K on my s-10 and never even changed the water pump!!

my father has owned Toyota and every one of them at 60k needs a new water pump, now dont get me wrong cars like Toyota and Mitsubishi are incredible in quality. How can you live in this country and not support the home team??

 

UM..... my V8 is a Vortec... its just the badge gm put on the motor, yours is a Vortec also, but its a inline 5 cylinder... the S10 blazers and trucks have vortec 4.3L V6's...My dads 2500HD truck has a Vortec in it, but its a 6.0L .. The smaller motors, my wifes HHR, has an Ecotec motor in it....

2- GMC sierra's, '04 silverado, '73 silverado, hhr, 2-cavilers, grand am, grand prix, cadillac cts, s-10 blazer... thats just me and my wife, my sister and brother in law, and my parents.... my uncle owns a body shop and all he has is Gm's too. My dad has been a GM mechanic his whole life, and drag raced a '69 nova.
