Kick stand???
Just wondering why the kick stand is always on the left side of the motor cycle and never on the right side.Any ideas?..........:eek:

I'll take a stab at it....Just a guess though.
My guess is that it started with bicycles. Since bicycles have the chain and chain ring on the right side, it was practical to mount the kickstand on the left side to keep it accessible and keep those trousers grease free... |

Just like a horse, you get on the left side not the right.

Man you can not ask a question like that!!! lol..it's just the way it is...lol...that's like asking why woman have boobs!! They, I mean it, works, so don't try to figure it out!!! lol lol
Since we drive on the right side of the roads, since the right side driving is where MC where invented, they put the kick on the left side to help compensate for road crown, and etc.... That's my guess!!?? |

This is a CT110 "postie bike" it has a side stand on BOTH sides and a centre stand :D
