Hey Will the next time that happens, just jump off the quad. I floated mine across rivers before, it will save it everytime. You may get wet, but the quad will be fine.

Not anymore, I had one back in 1988, I also had a three wheeler, both would float. In fact I'm pretty sure any quad will float if you get off it fast enough.

Mine was the Yamaha 225, electric and pull start, and best of all....shaft drive, no chain maintenance.

HEy sorry guys, I've been busy with Basketball and such and haven't replied to my own thread. I got a new tire for my KLX!!! I figured since the cords were showing that it was getting close to time for a new one. I still like kawasaki better, but honda would be number 2 on my list. There New 250 is ranked #1 then Suzuki then Kawasaki then Yamaha and last KTM.

KTM's are awesome! But not for everyone, certainly not for 14 year olds with no chest hair.

I'm really liking the new Husaberg FE450, though - that is one sweet bike. I think it will be setting the standard for the bikes to come for several years now. Fuel injection, engine rotated in the frame so the rotating mass is closer to the center of gravity, airbox up high where the gas tank normally is, gas tank down low under the seat carrying the bulk of the weight low where it should be (made possible by the FI fuel pump). I bet that bike handles like a dream.
