Gun safety

Ok so i know there are a few police and several gun owners on this site. I have alittle experince with guns and gun safety but im getting a new handgun and am wondering how people keep them safe and locked away from a4 yr old yet still accesible in a emergency. wont do me alot of good in the middle of the night if i gotta fumble around with keys and lockboxes

keep it high and keep a false clip in it, and keep the loaded clips in another high place. i dowbt shell be able to find the gun, drop the false clip out, fine the real ones, put one in right, cok it, take the safety off and shoot it at someone.

Up high with the ammo somewhere else, or in a lock box. Or get a mean dog, that will distract the robber long enough so you canget your gun out of the safe.

I've got one of these:

Click link for gun box >>>> LINK

Comes with a key, and you can program a finger combination to open it quickly.

Sorry I was just making the thread not so wide. Thanks;)
