Traded in the old Iphone 4 for this....

This thing makes the iphone look like a rotary dial phone. I did have to call Apple and have them take my number out of their system. It seems that when you switch from an iphone to another device, anyone that used to text you using IMessage can no longer get messages to you. What a bunch of Nazis!!! See ya Apple.

I'm still a Treo/Blackberry guy with the (actual) keyboard. My old Treo 700W finally bit the dust recently, and I "upgraded" to a Blackberry Bold. I don't do hardly any apps; I use the PHONE and send texts, primarily. I don't do games or web or "time-wasting" stupid crap. I want a rock-solid, phone-text-keyboard tool. (Also got the 3500maH extended aftermarket battery. I can go a few days without re-charge. Su-weet.) Can you tell I grew up in the analog era?? :)

Call it a tablet, but to be honest it fits better in my pocket being larger than the smaller phone that flopped from side to side. Seriously this is the best phone and best accessory I have ever owned period!

It's only an inch taller and 3/4 of an inch wider and its nearly half as thick.

Jeff & Drag:

It appears you gents tend to favor trailing edge technology. I know I tend to. I lost my flip phone at a concert last December and upgraded to a so-called smart phone. I miss that flip phone. I am a fan of the Cassio mil-spec ruggedized phones. The flip was a Ravine and the smart is a Commando. They aren't the sexiest, fastest, most powerful, etc. But I can drive over it with my bike, drench it in a pint of ale, and drop it from 5-ft without worry. Tough buggers.
