just saw that Geraldo was gonna do a story on Stunters for tuesday... something about "americas roads" the stunters, blah blah and something about death and carnage for all mankind... resulting in the implosion of the universe or something... hell, i don't know... damn i love Warsteiner beer....

His official website which lists upcoming topics for his show, and the Fox News website both do not indicate anything about him doing a story on stunters. He has been an avid motorcyclist for over 30 years... I met him a couple times when I was doing news camera work - a rather respected journalist who pulls no punches and gets right into the middle of things to bring the truth to the people. I certainly have no gripes about him.

Stunters I do however. At least those who routinely endanger everyone around them while on public roads. Doing a quick wheelie while no cars, etc are around is one thing... doing some of the crap I see these helmet-less kids do daily in the midsts of wall to wall traffic on 94 and 294 around Chicagoland... that's something else & it needs to be kept to a different area. Yes - I think some of the people have skills... very impressive - but out on public streets during rush hour, or on the "strip" on a friday night showing off along with everyone else on bikes and in cars and there is a pretty solid chance of someone wrecking or t-boning another bike or car every night? No.

 

The only beef i have with Geraldo is that he was giving away the postion of our troops he was riding with when we were in Iraq takeing over the country during the first parts of the war. That's not good and that's why we kicked his butt out of Iraq.
