+1 the ZZR is awesome all around and with a little experiance can probablybe handled very well bya new rider, Insurance will be alot cheaper than a 6R too, But it does have a lot of plastic. The 500, is more "dropable" if you are still afraid of handling it, and is faster in the twisties, although acceleration is duller than the 600.

ZZR600 -- its basicly the same as my first bike (the 95zx6r) comfortable, powerful, fun, but easy to ride also. the only hard part was the figure8 in the MSF course.

the figure 8 in the MSF course was easy on my KLX :D

yeah - there was a guy on a husqi dual sport at my MSF and he could do the figure 8 in like half the space. the harley guy was almost grinding pegs to do it but said it wasn't that difficult because the low CG
