Ferrari engine in a motorcycle?????
This must be an insane machine to ride. I am just wondering how many pant legs it would eat per day with the open gear drive on the side of the motor. I guess it would eat legs just as easy!
Motorcycle headcase #2: guy stuffs Ferrari engines into two custom bikes
Here's yet another case of infusing a two-wheeler with a passenger-car mill; in this case, the donor happens to be a Ferrari, and there's actually two project bikes. "Dino", pictured above, is powered by a V12 of undisclosed origin, while "Andreas" is motivated by a V8 swiped from a 308. They've been built by someone only identified as "George", who supposedly is a retired GP racer and Isle of Man TT survivor. There is also reason to believe that he has secured sponsorship from his local vendor of 4043 welding rod. We're not sure quite what to think, other than that we'd definitely be keeping the left pantlegs of our Aerostitch suits away from the open cam drive.

Oh, I got something that tops that, hehehehehe....................
Hope those stay working, and sorry for the size. That my friends is the Dodge Tomahawk concept. The power plant is a 505 cu. in., 8300 cc aluminum Viper V-10 engine.
A little tidbit from the site:
"The 500-horsepower Viper V-10 engine powering the dual rear wheels gives this radical vehicle a potential top speed of nearly 400 miles per hour - for anyone who wants to test it. The Tomahawk roared into public view at the North American International Auto Show."
If the pics don't work, or even if they do here is a link to another site with more info on it.

I still like Jay Leno's jet-powered motorcycle. I was watching an interview where he described someone pulling up too close to him so he could check the bike out. The guy kept inching closer, and Jay saw his plastic bumper melt off. The light turned green, and Jay took off like a rocket.
