Default Fender eliminator kit?

This is a repost from the 250 thread....but I figured maybe this is a general question.... I just got my 08 250r and I already purchased a fender eliminator kit thingy (to get rid of that long peice of plastic under the license plate) is it hard to do? I heard you have to cut things and just wondered if anyone has done it and if they have pics....PLEASE!

I seriously hope min elooks that good. it's the only thing I don't like about the bike. the cowl is on back order so I have to wait for that probably for a couple months.

it should be very easy to install. generally, you only have to cut when you are doing your own fender eliminator.

you can cut with a sturdy box knife for the cleanest cut, but it takes alot of effort. A hacksaw will work too, but leaves a very rough / sloppy edge.

depending on the kit you may or may not have to do any cutting. i'm sure you'll do good

I hope I don't have to but I'm figuring on it...my dad used to own a paint/body shop when I was little and still repaints all of our cars for us so I'm hoping he'll be able to do it for me..
