damn am I sore & tired
 

Over 300 miles in 2 days.... most at 35mph... but DAMN it felt good to get out riding again. Oh how I have missed the great weather and the ride...

I went all day Sunday and called in "sick" to work yesterday... :D Now we have a week of rain :(

Rode 12 Hrs on Sunday.
I missed getting out and riding. Got the chance to acctually clear my head of all the things that have been on my mind since, oh, October.

Got at least 250mi in on Sunday. It was sweet. I found some other Kawi riders in town. It may have been a bunch of big bikes, 10Rs, 12Rs and a 14R (so bad). Was out till about 2am Monday morning. Damn, now its work week and we might have a half a day before it starts raining for the next 7 days.[:'(].

damm sro, thought your new woman gave you a workout or something :D300 miles is a good ride but at 35mp ? that kinda makes it a long slow ride. its suppose to rain tomarrow and i was planing to ride so ill wait till thursday when its going to be 80 again.

It's a beautiful ride though... Sheridan Road from the north side of Chicago all the way to the Wisconsin state line... some spots you can get up to 50 or so... but it is plenty curvy, runs right along the lakeshore and has gorgeous houses on both sides... it's a good ride, even at 35 or 40. :) Very popular with the bikes - and as such - the cops are out there waiting for it - you know?

i know exactly what you mean, sounds like a kick ass ride. sometimes its just nice to take it slow and enjoy it.

I got out last week and did a 200mile ride (first of the season) and it was just great. I was sore for a couple of days tho.

Yup, I put on a lot of miles last weekend.:) Now it's raining after I spent 45 minutes on sunday washing my car, making it spotless![:@] It never fails to do that to me![:'(]
