Is the video card one that gets plugged into the motherboard or is it built into the computer? If it is one that gets plugged into the motherboard then make sure it is seated correctly. If not then you may have an issue with the video card internally. What type of Computer is it?

yes i would agree with the CMOS battery but usually it will still allow the monitor to come on just the Cmos settings will be messed up and the comp. clock with always be wrong.. and i would pull the cover off your tower and make sure all the cards are plugged into the PCI slots correctly and if nothing else remove them and reseat them. I'm an electronics tech and alot of time after a move the cards have loosened..
