wow, thats hasrh.

my grandpa had prostate cancer and made it through wonderfully. actually helped him a bit. b4 the treatment he kinda had a beer gut and it was messing up his knees. however, after the treatment he lost just enough weight to be perfectly healthy, and is now cancer free, had good knees and in great shape, especially for 72yo.

hopefully the same luck will come to your dad.

Hey Wedge, I'm very sorry to hear that news. You and your family are in my thoughts. I lost my best friend and step dad when I was 20 to Bone Cancer. That was 24 years ago, and I still think about him all the time. :) Hang in there man.

thanks everyone, just had to vent a little- it is a tuff time for sure the death rate here is just over 95% its a real deadly cancer. I really don't get to vent........... I have to be the strong one

Sorry to hear it wedge. I know the sick feeling when you hear the word cancer. My wife just had her lower lung removed a month ago. Luckily for us it was early detection. The chances of recovery are a whole lot better than a few years ago. I hope recovery is in your dads future also.
