Had a short ride today raising funds and awareness for the Black Dog (depression and suicide prevention) it's an annual ride held all over Australia.

We have had lots of rain lately and I wasn't sure I would go even though I'd pre-paid but the day turned out ok so I went. There are lots of road closures and damage to some roads. We rode from Coffs Harbour to McLean only passing through a shower so didn't get too wet.

Because of the road closures etc most went back down the highway but a few of us went on the back roads. Here we are waiting for the Lawrence Ferry

I decided to check out the flooding on the way back, yes there is a road under there, the sign on the left indicates 5.6 metres of water over the road. That's 19 feet. Clearly I wasn't going that way.



Turned around and crossed over to the Highway and came home, of course rode through heavy rain and got wet, oh well that's motorcycling
