Bike tie down

Default Bike tie down

Well since this is my first truck and ive never put a bike in the bed of a truck before where do i do a tie down for it. im assuming i put the kick stand down. and should i get the racheting tie downs

no kickstand, yes ratchit tie downs. becareful loading your lowers might hit the ramp.

do not put the kickstand down..... well dirt bikes have different handle bars...but thats where i latch on to to anchor it.... and yes i used those ratchet tie downs... i don trust those ones where you just pull and it tightens up.... i use one on either side of the bike, and usually one across the seat in the back.... id reccomend keeping the bike paralell to the bed rails.... its better, i just leave the tail gate down...

the tie downs will hit the fairing if you connect to the handlebars. what i did was go to the hardware store and take your bolt that holds your bar ends on and get a eye bolt to screw into the end of ur handlebars. just remove the bar ends and screw those in and it's a safe hook up.

my bed has two tie down points in the front at the bottom of the bed rails.... i actually have 1 in each corner....against the floor of the bed.... my sonoma had tie down points in the front of the bed too......

ok i just roll the bike up and just loop it through the eye hooks. i dont have to do anything else?
