Anyone good with building websites?

Hi there,

I am needing a website built and thought this would be a great place to seek the vast resources available. Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks.

A decent site is not that hard to build, just google 'HTML tutorials' and you'll get a veritible cornucopia of information. Here's some things to keep in mind; keep a nuetral or dark color as your BGcolor; bright white strains the eyes really fast. Ideally, a black background with light gray or other nuetral text is best for viewer's optical pleasure. Neon colors, flashing text, and pop-ups annoy the crap out of virtually everyone I know. If you have any picture galleries, a table of thumbnails is a good idea. Again, nix pop-ups if you can. I know the site I had posted here a while back looked like total crap, and violated a few of my own rules (like the blue, bolded text), but when I really apply myself, I can make something easy on the eyes and mind of the reader. I haven't pilfered the HTML/Java tutorials as of late, but my favorite kind of page to create/view is one with frames... frame on the left or right or top, with nagivation, and the mainframe being of text, images, ect. I can search up more on this for you later, but I'm at work right now. Good luck.

There are some companies that offer a premade generic infrastructure for websites if you want to pay the cash all you have to do is put your own stuff in it. But I have no idea how to do any of this so...yeah
