250 or 600

i wouldn't say i have ridden them a lot...but i have ridden them. and i learned and ride mostly in the sand which from what i understand is really the hardest to control a bike in.
and thanks to everyone, i will most likely go with the 600 or the zx6r, depending on which ones i find on craigslist that seem to be reasonably priced as well as a reliable seller.

40 mpg? When I ride my 14 and dont flogg it everywhere I go, it gets around 38 mpg with over twice the displacement of a 600......WTF?? But I have had the average mpg readout display 12 mpg when I am running it through the quarter mile so it can really eat gas when you lay into it! I dont know if that was an accurate reading under the circumstances, but it was pretty intresting just the same.
