Police: Son Throws Taco At Mom For Unplugging Video Game

DELTONA, Fla. -- Authorities said a central Florida 19-year-old threw a taco at his mother for unplugging his video game system.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, 54-year-old Dena Moir told her son, Zachary, several times to come downstairs for dinner.

When he didn't respond, she went upstairs and unplugged his Xbox. She told deputies her son pushed her, called her names and ordered her out of his room.
Zachary later went to the kitchen and threw his taco in his mother's face.
Dena Moir told a 911 dispatcher she had tried to get her son out of the house before.
Zachary Moir is being held without bail in the Volusia County Branch Jail. He's charged with domestic violence battery.
A phone message was left for a Dena Moir listed in Deltona.

If one of my kids did this to his mom, I would never stop kicking his ass!

okay.....isn't that something most parents deal with? teenagers are angry like that and i think the mom is a dumbass for filing charges for getting hit with a freakin taco!?!? i mean COME ONE SERIOUSLY!?!?!? he insulted u not attacked you. That's like a friend of mine facing a possible 6 months + in jail for calling her ex-husband a pussy...complete abuse of the law.


on the otherhand, if that was my kid or I was that kid....my dad woulda beat me so bad i wouldn't be able to look at a taco w/o my face/ass hurting. the kid was clearly iin the wrong and stupid but unless he has an actual history of violence or is dangerous i'd put him in therapy or boys home before jail for chucking a taco. The mom shoulda instilled the "Fear of God" into that kid way before he started acting up. I think any parent on here or child with parents not afraid to spank knows what i mean by that "Fear of God". Haha mine was getting wood/metal spoons, backhands, willowreeds, and once a chair to instill that fear for me 0.0

It's all of this bleeding heart "You can't spank your kids!" nonsense. When I was young, I wasn't too good to catch a belt across the ass. Guess what? My kids aren't either. There is a difference between enforcing discipline and child abuse!
