When't off rd once on my SV1000s when I came out of a chicane to fast..

Was nothin graceful about it .... But I didn't lose it.....

 

good for you....i did some off roading myself.... went into a turn too hot got onto the gravel run off whick was about 3 ft wide.... and the other side was a clip.... glad to say, i didn't save the bike.... but i saved myself....

 

Losin a bike is almost like losin a child....

 

All i have to say is nice save. Who care's how pretty you looked when you saved her.

 

just as long as you don't kill yourself in the process.... but ya loosing a bike is like loosing your best girlfriend...

 

I very much disagree with you all....
I ride my bike like shes a **** you pick up on a drunk thursday night....
Ride her hard.. but pamper her when needed
if she falls pick her up and dust her off
cosmetics? she always looks good when your on top of her anyway, and she looks even better in the dark.
Most of all when youve abused her to the point shes not coming back.. Sell her to a stranger... and its ok because you'll always have memories..
of how well she preformed.. and how hard you rode her!

I'm gonna stay out of this one! But personally, my bike likes a more gentle approach! But I can see your point motogp! It's all about the memories!

 

I'm not saying that you have to pamper your bike just that no one really like's going down on there bike. Well at least not me that is. I ride fairly safe on my bike that's all. Don't really want any scars on my new bike that is all.

 

i hear ya bro. when i went down on my bike for the first time, i was more concerned about my bike then myself.... it's kinda funny how that works....
