Default winters coming

alright here we go. winters coming and im bored again with the bike. not that i dont like the bike, i just like changing on occasion. so its going to be a complete rebuild and all. plans so far are ohlin rear strut, going with a blue black metallic paint (off the 2002 pontaic grand prix), prob chrome the frame, swing arm, and wheels, and a 998 big bore. now for you guys. any other suggestions, comments on what i plan, setup for the front forks, ect. anything that would be good or you guys think would be nice, just put your thought out there.

thanks.

i was going to go with an 8 to 1 compression build on the motor to turbo it, but can not find a turbo kit for my bike.

this is a 99 zx9r

just to inform you, that "W" word is illegal on this site, as is the mentioning of frozen white precipitation. (that "S" word)

and yes, my homey hoey is right. i know blow.. lol (do NOT pervert..)
you're in the perfect state for turbos. theres a shop in Waco called Majestic turbo. they are a leading rebuilder, and offer turbos and tech help as well. very friendly and knowledgeable. 254-757-3759 or 800-231-5566

your flow requirements are going to be just over 150cfm, so a T3 would be good, or any other snail in thi lineup. the tdo-4l i'm using flows 360cfm @ 15psi.. a little overkill, but at a .61A/R, will hit like a fuggin freight train. still may try a 3 off an old meredes-benz diesel. their hot sides run as .48.. way faster spool..

also, look into the #2/3 oil galleys on your bike.. certain years had trouble with flow to the crank bearings and wiped them out on mild builds and high loads/speed.

if this happens, theres a good chance of obliterating the case. rarely, it's serviceable with a line bore and new bearings. Muzzy makes a oil line kit for the bike that might be worth looking into.. can't remember exactly what year, so i figured i'd tell ya anyway.
