hey Everbody i got a 98 zx9 with a throttle with no return snap i tried a new cable no luck with that i was reading i can install a ignition advancer and it would solve the problem i need some suggestion before i go on and purchase anything else

No throttle return snap as in that the throttle does not return properly? New grips rubbing can be an issue or the spring and cable hook up may not be correct.

make sure your cables are lubed and properly routed. If the throttle is tight on the "open" twist, it may be binding on the "close" twist. Ignition advancer won't do much. Cams in Kaws are typically spec'd a bit hotter than (say) Suzuki. (THAT oughtta get some upset posters....but it's true.)
