Hi the same happend to me but it was a goose that flew on me and these mounts can not be fixed without a professional aluminum welder that can weld the insets back in place.
i would talk to a mecanic or metalworkshop

hope this helps

Just wondering, Spank, is there ANY threaded or "mating point" remaining so that you could make a spacer or bracket to compensate for the problem? I think you said "the tank bolts don't line up." By how much? Can you post a pic, and maybe, just maybe we can help.

Default yes i will take pics and try to post them later

the problem is the tank will not go all the way down with the air box on, and the bolts dont line up. but the tank is dented. so maybe this is the problem.i was jus looking to see if someone has been through the same problem. maybe i am freaking out over nothing. but i will try to take some pics later today and post them thanks

Post some pictures. There are some real "fabricators" on this site....
We'll help if we can.
