I just went and picked up my new 1989 ZX7 H1 and I love it although I have not had a chance to ride it yet except to put it on the trailer. The previous owner said he put new oil in it and other fluids.


What should I check before riding her? It seems like the throttle is sticking a little and she does have trouble idling. Can anyone help with what I should be looking for/at?

Check for the obvious stuff. Fluids, sticky items are going to happen for a ride that is not ridden often.
That ride looks clean.

edit: My ebony ride has seen some track abuse from when I bought it new in 90
