Anybody got a line on a motor for a 91-95 zx7?I've got a 94 that I've been restoring and found out today that the motor that was in it is trashed.Long story short,the guy I bought/traded it from got it from another guy,that "revved it to 8 or 9 grand popped the clutch" and slammed it down on the engine case.Well Nate(freind of mine taking it apart,used to work for Attack Yamaha)said that the force of the blow knocked the bottom case a little over and bound up #4 & 5 main journels and in which clogged up the oil pick up so starved the top end!!!!!
So.......a motor from a 91-95 zx7 should work.Motor only had 12,000 miles on it.He also said that a set of frame sliders probably would've helped!!!!Thanks!!![/align]
