Need to determine the kind of engine in my bike..

I have a 1994 ZX7 but the previous owner told me the engine is not original. I need to determine the year, make and model of it to purchase the right motor parts. Any help will be appreciated.

I pulled this Serial number off of the motor.

ZX750NE009470KHI
