Default DOH!!!!

Rode the 750R to work today. Stopped by the gas station, put the kickstand down, walked into the gas station, got my pop, came out to find the Ninja on it's way down!!! I jumped and caught it almost to the ground, but just not it in time to save it totally. Scratched the left side lower cowl . Now both sides are messed up. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get replacement pieces anyhow?? I'm sure the left side could be sanded/filled, but the left side is broken and be glued back so it needs replaced.

It's like most gas stations around here, very slight slope. Nothing I haven't parked the KE on before. Oh well. I bought the bike for something to fix up this winter and I guess I'll just add one more thing to the list. I'm lucky that my garage leads right into my basement so I'll just pull it in there this winter and start working away! I'd love to find some new front upper and lower plastic, get some paint and do some sick paint job on it.

It got moved to the first on the list. Now that I'm at work, we brought it in the shop and it has a ton of extra play in it. Probably what caused the whole problem.

Worst part of the deal is the torn muscle in my shoulder. I can barely move it now. It made for a long, cool ride home(temps in mid to low 50s).

sucks about the ride falling over.
My '88 ninja 750 had a center stand. I always used it.
Heal up quick.

I have trouble gettting it up on the center stand sometimes, plus I had the old figure "I'll just be in for a second" Learned the hard way on that one.

It actually feels worse today! I probably pulled a muscle pretty bad catching it with the one arm and my toes(bless steel toed boots!)

And the center stand deal...it's just a pain on this bike. Never had problems with friends' bikes before.
