carb sync on 01 750

Those 2 gold things on the picture of my carb (the barb pipes) (theyre at the bottom of the picture of my carb). Is that where my carb synchro hoses go? If so which pipe? I also dont know which screw/bolt we turn to adjust?

AGGH I'm lost! Please help!

I believe the hoses go Underneath-front each of the carbs but I cant find where.... and I believe there is 3 adjusting screws? 1 for cylinders 1-2. the 2nd for the 3-4 cylinders and the 3rd for all of them? I believe you can take the carbs off by something on the underneath-front side but cant find it.[/align]

This is for a P model. hmm, not having good luck posting the pdf. Look on page 2-13 in your service manual.

edit: Don't mess with the area that you circled and no, that is not where you would connect the hoses.

ya, I figured it wasnt the correct place to hook up the hoses.

My guess is that there is a place underneath the carbs on the front area of the carbs where you hook up.

I looked at the manual for a long time yesterday and it doesnt tell you crap in that section of carb synchronization!

I really thought mine was a "P" model which I believe the "P" model says that the idle rpm is 1100 rpms. Well... I took off my seat and it said that my specification for idle rpms is 1300 rpms. Which makes me think maybe its an "N" model or something... I'm confused again

p model will have a square plate with 4 screws on the swingarm axle(on each side). the p model also has CVK carbs. the N model has flatslides.. WAY different. the little brass holes in the pic are part of the jetting circuit.. its cool to leave em open like that. they enclose on the bottom of the airbox flange.

and yeap. the hookups are under the carbs. theres plugs in the head on the intake runners. 1 is plugged, 3 are tied together.. these are the lil hookup points you need for syncing.

remember, 1 to 2..3 to 4.. then 2 to 3 to balance everything..
good luck bro!

on the outside of my swing arm at the "axle" it has a square plate in there like a 1.5" x 1.5" but I definately dont seeany "screws". My engine VIN and bike VIN dont match though. I think they are CVK carbs they dont look boxy. I will have to do some more looking (I work too much). I can post more pics.My guess isits a "P"
