ok here goes i have a 97 zx7r and pulled my carbs jetted them and replaced them, now as long as i have had the bike the airbox is being smashed down by the gas tank. i'm just wondering if anyone else has had fitment problems like this? i made sure the carbs when installed are down all the way in the gloves and everything else is put back right in it's place? kinda stumped. need help

 

Have the carb boots been replaced? Sounds like you are sure that the carbs are seated properly in the boots.

 

no they are the original ones.
