Almost all of my buddies use 110 race gas at the track, and half of them just continue using it on the street so that they dont have to change their tune. I know that 110 has lead in it, and our bikes have catalytic converters, but no O2 sensors, and lead ruins cats, but I dont really care if my cat stops "working", I just dont want it to end up throwing an engine code. Does or has anyone run leaded race fuel in a bike with a cat on it, or is it really not something to even think about?

 

ok, question? what happens with a ruined cat? It plugs up? So what happens if the exhaust is plugged up? It ruins performance ??? I do not have an answer on this. However, why run 110 on a bike that is not tuned for it in the first place? Stay with 92 and even then that may be overkill on your bike if it is not required in your tune or the factory spec. Agreed, if your not setup for it, dont use it and if your not racing you wont notice a difference in performance. Good luck brotha.
