Two Brothers Exhaust
Has anyone found a really good price on the two brothers exhaust? I'm looking for the carbon fiber one. On their website it is like $900. Is there anyone selling it for much cheaper or is it best to buy straight from the manufacturer? I also see some threads where people have had problems installing their exhaust. Is this exhaust really that hard to install?

RE: Two Brothers Exhaust
Not hard at all. Any price other than straight from 2bros will be about the same across the board.

RE: Two Brothers Exhaust
Not hard to install just make sure u have a buddy to help or it'll be a pain in the ass! Oh an make sure u have a crowbar cause you'll need it to to pry the header pipe down to get the new pipe into it.

Oh an make sure u have a crowbar cause you'll need it to to pry the header pipe down to get the new pipe into it. DO NOT DO THAT! instead just take off your right rear set, and the black plate behind it and presto easy install into the collector. While you have the black plate off grind off the tit that is at the top of it. If you don't that tit WILL dent your exhaust pipe since it is a larger diameter than stock... |
RE: Two Brothers Exhaust
Then why in the instructions that they provide you with does it clearly show them using a pry bar to get it in?

RE: Two Brothers Exhaust
I agree that the way they want you to do it is to pry it off. I took the rearset off and that swingarm brace off and mine slide off. But I found that out on my own. I didnt even take the lower cowl off doing it that way. Although i did drop one of the bolts right in the collector. Thank god for magnets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) Either way gets the job done. The way i did it makes it a one man job. Either way, just think about the killer exhaust going on and it makes it all worth while:D
