Trackday at Cresson Motorsports Ranch Update
Man was it a BLAST! I had an awesome time. The New track is incredible; very challenging with a lot of elevation changes in the turns. It even has a mini corkscrew (Laguna Seca) and Carousel (Sears Point/ Infineon). The bike ran great with lots of power with the Race ECU. Didn't have to do a lot of shifting due to the broad midrange power. The stock BT-014's had excellent grip on the hot track surface; the rear drifted at little in the morning, but after the track warmed up, they felt very solid & confidence inspiring. I was highly impressed. The ZX6R & RR's were very popular and hauling ASS! In the Mock Sprint Race (To get the New riders racing license) a ZX6RR just walked away from the competition and almost lapped the last guy; in only 4 Laps on a 3.1 mile track! This kid is gonna be FAST!
Well, I can't wait to do the next one but need a looser set of leathers. I have a size 50 Euro and need a Size 52. Time to hit ebay. Anyone need a set of good condition Dainese Leathers? P.M. me. |

RE: Trackday at Cresson Motorsports Ranch Update
Sorry about that. This track is called: Cresson Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas; about 45 minutes southeast of DFW Airport. I did take a couple of pics in the pits and will post soon. I am also trying to get in touch with some of the photographers at the track to get pics of me in action and will post them when I get em.
