We change our the old fashioned way (and havent dented or scratched a rim) and then we have a thing from harbor freight to balance it.

RE: tire mounting price?
Dang, seems like a lot... The last time I had tires changed, about three months ago... I bought the tires, new Dunlops... Two new tires, them taking the bike apart, to change them, rear brakes, cost me $260.00 ...... It was only $45 labor for it all. That included computer spin balancing. I used to do all my own also, but it's worth $45 to have someone else do it as good as me...
The advantage of a small town, with 5 bike shops, 3 custom trike shops, a custom turbo shop in a town of 50,000 people...Everybody competes harder for the business. |

RE: tire mounting price?
are you running pp's now tx ?

RE: tire mounting price?
Tomahawks didn't rate well in the Sport-Rider tire test. Also, they were a lot heavier because they're essentially retreads. They use the carcasses from other tires.
