That spring looks like it is from your rear brake lever. Connects to the brake lever & the switch spring connects to it.

Its the brake return spring.

Strange that it would fall off while removing the fairing...

I went and looked and my woodcraft rears don't have a spot for it. I stuck all the random extra nuts/bolts/parts from installing the rearsets under my rear seat. I think when I popped it off it fell out. There is the front hole for it, but nothing to attach the back of the spring too. Thanks guys for the help.

its from the stock exhaust. i have a muzzy and i re attached mine. not sure if u have to with the micron
